7R will be exploring different 'journeys'.
They will be working as artists to produce work that will be exhibited at Goldsmiths in June.
This blog will record the process of their journey & give them an opportunity to discuss their work & inspirations.
My most memorable journey was to Santa Cruz in the USA. It was the first time I had flown. The colour blue will always remind me of this journey as I felt I had never seen such a big blue sky and the sea was also so blue!
ReplyDeleteMy most memorable journey would be ... When I went to Gran Canaria with my mum and nana . where I went fishing and saw a flying fish AND DOLPHINS !!!!!!!!! I had my favourite food in the world ... OCTOPUS!!! and it reached thirty five Degrees ! phew

ReplyDeleteMine was probably Western California, I remember the plane journey was 11 hours from London Heathrow to LAX airport! The colour that symbolises it is probably green because you could see British green fields from high in the air.
I recognise the countries are flags of the countries as the country land.
on the differnet countries it shows the countries flags

it is all the different countries with all the different flags my most memorable holiday was probably when i went to Russia because it was a once in a life time trip that i'll never forget!
ReplyDeleteWhen i look @ it i see a map with countries on it (well nah) but in those countries they have flags. My most memorable holiday was when i went to italy because it was really fun and i will never forget it

My most memorable journey was probably when i went to australia.Every morning i enjoyed going down to the beach with my family,Uncle and two Cousinsfor a quick surf. All in all it was great. When i look at this picture i see a map of the world but with their countrys flag printed what looks like on it.

My most memorable holiday was when I went to spain, I got there by areoplane. The colour that represents this journey is khaki (dark green) because me and my family wore that colour quite alot while staying there.

I think mine would have to be when i went to america for 3 months because i went to school there and met lots of people

My most memorable holiday was when I went to TOBAYGO (very hot) it was really nice because we went with my grand parents MUMBO & GLEN and my aunties and uncles ZOE, GABY & HARRY & my cousins JESSICA & BOB.It was a really good experience. The color that symbolizes my journey would have to be yellow as it was HOT. In this picture I recognize that there letters around the ends.

well i went to Egypt 2 years ago and stayed there for 15 days and we traveled all over Egypt, just me and my mum but with 2 other families that both had 3 girls about my age. so it was quit a crowed of girls (seven). i would say that the color that would represent mt journey would be sandy yellow because of the pyramids and the sand.

well, me and my family are from lithuainia so we made a BIG journey because we went to london by car! and when we go to visit my grandparents around every 2 years or so we mostly go by car so we go through france, poland, germany, netherland, devon so the colour that would represent that journey would be blue to represent the water.
ReplyDeleteI most enjoyed when i went to america because i was only yound and i went to florida(orlando ) which is where i met micky mouse and minnie mouse and spongebob squarepants. I really enjoyed this hoilday and i think there was just 1 colour to represent it there are several.I think it is a multicoloured hoilday full of excitment and fun .Especially because i was only young.The reasons i dont have a main colour for this hoilday because there was hurricanes and heat waves so it was a bit diffrent from most hoildays .when there was a hurricane we were told to stay in the bathrooms because there was no windows in there.There is not much more i can say about my hoilday to america .except from even though it was good i have been on better hoildays .

One of ny most memorable journey's was going to Wales because it was the first time i had seen my grandma and uncle in years so it was quite emotional!

It was'nt my most memorable memory but my real most memorable memory is when I wemt to Israelm because we stayed in such a nice hotel and it had alot of good food!!!!

I have been to Australia, America,portugal, spain,Canada, France, Italy, Eygypt. Most of the Journeys where by plane but ine of them was by Coach.I think the colour that symbolises my journey is the colour of the flag of the country or how hot the country is , or my favorite colour.
ReplyDeletei have been to alot of places in the world including india spain france italy morocco america. america was my favourite place to go because it was so fun and i went to universal studios. all of these journeys have been made by airplane and they were all really good.
ReplyDeletei like the stiches on it and i like the way that it shows the differnet kinds of flags and the way it repersents the different countrys. It reminds me of the all the different holidays i've been on.I also like they way it is set out and the way that the flags have been layered out on the different country's. It also reminds me about all the times when i went to wales to see my family.
